However, a lot of these healthcare institutions use antiquated systems that leads to more errors, lack of interoperability, and rising costs for patients. The healthcare industry is in a dire need of a prescription of tech, and Athelas is here to serve.

1. 🏠 Home is where the Heart – and Healthcare? – is

Remote patient monitoring will be (and already is) a game-changer in the healthcare industry. For patients, being able to test and monitor their health at home means easy access to diagnostics as well as preventive healthcare to catch illnesses before they become serious. Athelas’s flagship device, Athelas Home, has been FDA-cleared to be used in the home and can return neutrophil and white blood cell counts in minutes with an easy finger-prick.

1. 🪦 Pre- not Post- mortems

Athelas uses Notion to map out company pre-mortems. Yup, you heard that right (not your typical post-mortem). Before any task, big or small, they map out everything on Notion. That includes possible key results, as well as risks, and things that could possibly go wrong.
