Mindblowing 3D websites used by A$AP Rocky and Amazon
You haven’t walked through a website like this before (literally).
But first, this week’s startup is brought to you by OnePager - one link to tell your startup’s story. Trusted by founders from YC, Techstars, and On Deck.
OnePager is a tool for founders to consolidate and share their startup’s information. With OnePager, founders can bring together their company overview, team info, pitch deck, demo video, FAQs, and more under an easily shared URL with privacy settings and analytics built in. OnePagers are used by founders for sharing new projects, fundraising, sales, and recruiting.
âšľ The Elevator Pitch:
The first website went live in 1991, which you can view here. Not much to miss, just some plain text and hyperlinks.
Muse, the “Squarespace” for 3D websites”, is rethinking the way we navigate pages.
Muse makes 3D websites that users can walkthrough. Flat 2D boxes are replaced with galleries, and buttons are replaced with clickable gadgets on the walls. Muse even utilizes audio-spatial cues, so videos get louder as you walk towards them. Best of all, it’s no-code!

🔍 Our analysis
🔥 VR without the headsetsThe 3D website experience is powerful. I found myself staying on the photographer’s demo site for way longer than I would have on a Squarespace’d website. What we love is a VR experience without the headset (which has notoriously bad consumer adoption). We’re keen to see exact metrics on how much longer Muse sites retain users than traditional sites.
🌱 NFT and other potentialIf you didn’t know, NFTs are the new hottest thing in the art community. Muse thinks their sites are the next go-to for selling digital art. Art pieces on the demo sites already render beautifully. The interactive digital showcase muse has creates an unrivaled selling experience.
🔧 Is it practical? While the Muse experience is great, 3D websites lose some functionality (e.g., quick navigation). Additionally, Muse may be hard to surf for inexperienced users.
